Hi there! My name is Dani Go. I’m a Filipino-Chinese illustrator based in Manila, who loves drawing stuff for kids and kids at heart! I sneak in a lot of things I love like people, animals, nature and food in my picture books and character illustrations.

I’ve illustrated books for Philippine publishers like Adarna House, Kado Publishing and OMFlit publishing. And I’m working on my first author-illustrator picture book with my agent, Rebecca Sherman of Writer's House.

Four Dogs of the Apocalypse

An piece I made to illustrate the daily chaos I live with as an owner of 4 dogs.

Flowers for tomorrow

A poster created as tribute to Vice President Leni Robredo and the hope she brings the nation. This was included in the zine, Para sa Bukas ang Kulay Rosas” by Novice Magazine.

Chika-chika, mga maldita

A diptych done for a project called “Dama mo, Lahi mo” which celebrates Filipino culture. I wanted to show that Filipinas have always had a love for fashion and gossip.

Little Big World

A piece that was created as part of Ang INK’s 30th anniversary, inspired by my love for small creatures and days out in our little pocket garden.

Gift a Child a Book

A self promotion piece I created for the first Philippine Book fest

Artist vs Art 2022

Using 9 squares of the “art vs artist”, I created my own version that instead focuses on my relationship with my process and my art.

2022 was a year of internal struggles and re-centering myself with art.

Artist vs Art 2021

Using 9 squares of the “art vs artist”, I created my own version that instead focuses on my relationship with my process and my art.

2021 was a year to appreciate the movement and act of drawing and getting lost in that moment.

Woman Creator

Part of an art challenge called “me my muse” by Mais2, this was one of the daily art prompts.

This was for day 15, the theme being “The meaning of your name”

Auntie Witch at the Guggenheim

An illustration for a picture book in the works called “Auntie Witch”

Sweet Baddies

A piece that was part of a fund-raising zine for a local Risograph print studio called "Bad Student”.
