Hi there! My name is Lin from Bangkok, Thailand. I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries in Europe and Asia and have discovered that I have a strong passion for observing the small details of people's cultures, foods, and cities. Each place I visit has its own unique identity and I love visualizing those impressive scenes.

A cup of story 2 Book cover

Designed the book cover for "The Cup of Story 2" with the concept inspired by old traditional coffee shops in Thailand. These shops typically feature circular tables, patterned tiles, and boiled eggs, which are always present in Thai traditional coffee shops. I also included various types of coffee and people enjoying a cozy vibe in the coffee shop.

My Ancestor's table

As a Thai person of Chinese descent, every year on Chinese New Year, my family and I always prepare meals for our ancestors. These meals are full of lucky foods. After we pray to our ancestors, we eat the meals together and spend time with each other.

Bualoy for "Bangkokian"

I always saw Bangkok as a place for eating and gathering with my friends after work. We would often have some of my favorite desserts like "Bualoy" and "Charcoal Grilled Bread." This kind of dessert is usually sold on the streets around Bangkok, with lovely traditional Thai buildings in the background and this is my perception of Bangkok.

Summer in Italy

During my master's degree in Italy, I experienced the summer season and observed many things. People enjoyed their time on the beach, Gelato was the best treat for summer, and eating seafood in the city along the coast was a great experience. There was a special charisma about the place, and I can't wait to go back there.

Sicily, Trinakria land

I fell in love with Palermo, Sicily, Italy when I visited. I discovered that the town has a symbol called the “Land of the Three-Legged Goddess” (Trinakria). This name comes from its location at the central point of the Mediterranean Sea, which is considered the intersection of three ancient civilizations: Asia, known as “Asia Minor,” Europe, and Africa. I interpret this symbol as representing the roots of the Sicilian people.

Traditional restaurant in Macau

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to observe shop and restaurant fronts. This shop front in Macau is one of my favorites because it represents the traditional style and culture of the area. In Asia, most restaurants show their cooking area in front of the shop, which I find really interesting.

Sardines Town

In Lisbon, Portugal, I discovered that sardines are a big part of everything there, including ceramic bowls, food, sardine cans, dolls, and more. I interpret this as Lisbon people identifying with sardines to create a unique identity for the city, complemented by the beautiful tiles which are a key part of Portugal's identity.

Sardines Restaurant

"Taberna" is the name of a restaurant in Lisbon that I was very impressed with because of its authentic Portuguese food. I definitely enjoyed the grilled sardines and a nice traditional rice dish. I also loved seeing all the people there enjoying the sardines, which added to the lively vibe in town.

Sardines's can tram

If you have experienced the tram in Lisbon, you will enjoy the sardines in the tiny can along with other sardines.

Flower shop in Milan

There is a flower shop in Milan that is filled with beautiful and fresh flowers. I really like the culture where people place importance on giving flowers as greetings to their loved ones and for decorating their homes. I was fortunate to witness a scene where a woman in Milan was enjoying choosing her flowers with her dog among these bella(beautiful in Italians) flowers!
