Our theme in 2024: "CONSOLING"
เริ่ม Team up กันจากที่อยากทำของน่ารักจากงานภาพ หรือบริการงานออกแบบที่มองน่ารัก หรือเอ็นจอยไปเรื่อยๆ และอาจรู้สึกบางอย่างในภายหลัง จากเรื่องเล่าจากสารพัดการสังเกตุ โดยมักเริ่มต้นจากการลองทำดู
"โดยทั้ง2 มีความเชื่อว่า ศิลปิน 2 คน อยู่ถ้ำเดียวกันได้ และอาจไม่ใช่ปัญหาซะทีเดียว" แม้มีสไตล์งานภาพที่แตกต่างกัน ทั้งสองจะชื่นชอบความน่ารักที่อบอวนในประเทศญี่ปุ่น และเชื่อว่าความอบอวนนี้ เผยแพร่ออกไปได้ในที่ไกลๆ บางทีไปผสมกับกลิ่นอื่นๆ

SPARK JOY WITH GASHAPON
โดยเริ่มต้นในปี 2022 อย่างของกุ๊กกิ้กชิ้นแรกๆ เช่น
กาชาปอง แมวเสือ ชื่อน้อง "Please" เพื่อเล่าเรื่องราว based on true story จากสิ่งมีชีวิตในซอยบ้านที่พบเจอกันในช่วงโควิด ทำให้ทั้งสองเรียนรู้การสื่อสารที่ไม่ได้พูดและพูดไม่ได้ จาก Please เราอาจทำได้แค่สังเกตุและสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับน้องแบบเพื่อนที่ไม่ได้เป็นเจ้าของ และขอเอามาเล่าต่อให้ฟังใน "Please 's walk GASHAPON"

DESIGN SERVICE PROJECT
ไปจนถึงโปรเจคงานออกแบบต่างๆ เช่น ร้านขนมชิฟฟ่อนสุดหอมมะพร้าวขวัญใจขาประจำบ้านแพ้ว...ที่อยากให้มีรูปเจ้าของบนผลิตภัณฑ์แบบโลโก้คลาสสิก แต่ ขับเคลื่อนด้วยกล่องสีหวานน่ารักแค่ใส่กล่องก็เป็นของขวัญ ขอให้กล่องใบนี้แทนใจโดยไม่จำกัดเพศ จำกัดวัยอย่างแบรนด์ "B&B Bakery"
หรือโปรเจคโปรโมทการท่องเที่ยงเชิงวัฒนธรรมจากอาหาร "Umegashima, shizuoka- Gastronomical Tea TourismGuidebook" ที่ได้รับทุนจาก The Toyota JAPAN Foundation
จากทีมนักวิชาการจากเมืองไทย-ญี่ปุ่นมหาวิทยาลัย University of Shizuoka ในโครงการของ รศ.ดร.อำนาจ ขาวเครือม่วง
โดยขอเล่าลงในรูปแบบ guideook ที่แม้จะเริ่มต้นแจกที่เมือง Shizuoka เท่านั้นแต่อยากให้เนื้อหา เข้าถึงไปยัง 2 ภาษา และแต่แม้ไม่รู้จัก umegashima มาก่อน ก็เริ่มจากการมองภาพหน้าปกและค่อยซึมซับกันไปได้ โดย far_andco รับหน้าที่ออกแบบภาพประกอบ และ try2benice ออกแบบมาสคอตน้อง Gastro-chan ชาเบบี้ ประจำโครงการ เป็นต้น

WHAT EACH ARTIST IS INTO
try2benice เชื่อในการถ่ายทอดความเบาสบายในอากาศของญี่ปุ่น เชื่อในความน่ารักจนอดใจ (ไม่ช้อป) แทบไม่ไหว ไปจนถึงส่วนผสมกวนๆ ที่เริ่มจากลองทำดูจนขอนำมาใช้จริง ผ่านรูปทรงที่คุ้นชินเช่น รูปเลขาคณิตศาสตร์ และไปจบที่ตัวอะไรก็ตาม... ที่เขาไปแอบสังเกตุมา
far_andco เชื่อในบรรยากาศรอบๆ ที่ส่งเสริมให้เกิดความรู้สึก มักจะหยิบพื้นผิว มาตัดแต่งเป็นรูปทรงตัวแทนสัมผัสที่จินตนาการขึ้น ทั้งหยาบกร้าน เปร่งประกาย และนุ่มฟู และกำลังเรียนรู้แบบค่อยๆ ที่จะแชร์เรื่องราวจากบันทึกความรู้สึกเพื่อลดระยะที่เคยห่างไกลระหว่างศิลปิน (อย่างตัวเธอเอง) กับผู้คน

They began teaming up with a simple desire: to create cute, joyful things through visual work or design services. What started as small tries gradually turned into something, inspired by various observations and stories they encountered along the way.
"Both believe that two artists can share the same canvas, which might create an interesting vibe." Even with their different artistic styles, they both appreciate the warmth and charm often found in Japan. They hope to share this feeling widely, mixing it with other familiar scents—perhaps the comforting aroma of pad-kraprow, or even Thai doughnuts (Pa Thong Ko).
SPARK JOY WITH GASHAPON
Their collaboration took off in 2022, with some of their earliest works including "Please," a Gashapon tiger cat inspired by real-life encounters in their neighborhood during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this experience, they learned how to communicate in non-verbal ways, building a friendship without ownership and forming a quiet bond with Please. They shared this relationship through pieces like "Please's Walk Gashapon."
DESIGN SERVICE PROJECT
Their design work extends beyond personal projects to supporting local businesses. For example, they worked with "B&B Bakery," an affordable must-try coconut chiffon cake shop, to create a classic logo featuring the owner. The packaging was designed to be sweet and playful, turning the product into a thoughtful gift for anyone, regardless of age or gender.
They also worked on promoting cultural tourism through food with the project "Umegashima, Shizuoka - Gastronomical Tea Tourism Guidebook," supported by The Toyota JAPAN Foundation. This guidebook, created by a team of researchers from Thailand and Japan, led by Associate Professor Dr. Amnat Khaokhrueamuang from the University of Shizuoka, aims to introduce the charm of Umegashima through its food and tea culture. Even for those unfamiliar with the area, the design—featuring illustrations by far_andco and a tea baby mascot, Gastro-chan, by try2benice—makes the guidebook inviting and accessible, drawing readers in with its visuals on the cover.
WHAT EACH ARTIST IS INTO
Their work is deeply personal and influenced by everyday life. try2benice enjoys capturing the lightness of Japan and the irresistible cuteness that tempts him to shop. He enjoys incorporating quirky elements that begin with playful experimentation, using familiar shapes like geometric figures, which then evolve into characters based on whatever he happens to observe.
far_andco, on the other hand, focuses on textures that evoke different emotions and are cut into forms. She often uses textures to represent different sensations, from rough and radiant to soft and fluffy. She's also learning how to gradually share the stories from her journals, hoping to bridge the distance between herself and the audience.
They’ve been grateful for opportunities to share their art through BKKIF exhibitions, with themes such as:
