I am an illustrator and storyteller who creates colorful, magical worlds using traditional watercolor.

My work center on ‘Sad Bear and Sassy Cat’, a story of an unlikely friendship between two different souls. Their world is dangerous yet beautiful, mystical yet understandable. I love to explore the theme of cultural diversity, folklore, and unwavering hope ranging from the mythical shrines of Thailand to landscapes across Asia. These are an evidence of how friendship can be born despite all differences.

I hope ‘Sad Bear and Sassy Cat will be a safe haven that brings joy, melancholy, and comfort to audiences of all ages.

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - Pirate Village

Sad Beat and Sassy cat were running from pirate monkeys. They stole shiny, golden, weird fruit which monkeys found on a treasure island. They wanted to eat the shiny delicious fruit but Sad Bear and Sassy Cat knew it is not a fruit.

Is it a creature's egg in need of rescue? Let's find out.

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - Spooky house

The house shakes, green spirit appears from refrigerator.

Everywhere the spirit passes, it turns GREEN.

Sassy catch him with his magic gloves.

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - the Robot of Toxic City

One day, Sad Bear and Sassy Cat received a news from Toxic City. The giant Cleaning Robot was gone wild. Its dusk bin was fulled. need to be emptied and cleaned.

“Everything’s on fire.” Sad Bear commented.

“Do you know that Toxic City is a new name of this city?”, Sassy asked while he was dodging the attack. “Its toxic makes here a Toxic City. Cleaning this giant is not help unless they’d reduce the toxic emission.”

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - Magical Pond

Sassy is sleeping, poisoned by the shining mystery guide. But there's no magic sending the Sad one to sleep. His insomnia is too strong. He suddenly feels lonely sitting beside mystical pond.

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - Family Reunion Day

Family Reunion Day is near. Sassy Cat has many family members. So, he needs to gradually meet each of them before the day.

”Why is your relative a snake?” Sad Bear is curious out loud.

“He’s not a snake, a dragon!” Sassy corrects, “we don’t have to look alike to be a family!”

“Yes,” Sad Bear says, sadly likes his name.

Sassy knows.

”Do you want to hug him too?”

“Yes.”

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat: Assassin and Sorcerer

Sad Bear, without fear, jumped to slay the water demon. He wanted to finish this quest as soon as possible. He wanted to be free from the responsibilities the Kingdom gave him and go on an adventure which he had always wanted.

He did not know the water demon was just an illusion, created by powerful sorcery. The sorcery was laughing behind dirty rocks. He did not understand. The quest, the responsibility, the serving for Kingdom are nonsense compare to living free.

“Hmm? Where are we? We’re stuck here until the rain go away.”

“Is this place safe?”

”Yes,” said the sassy, “from the rain.”

Sad Bear was not sure about that.

In rpg-fantasy world, Knight Sad Bear has found Mage Sassy Cat. Seem like he was cursed to sleep for eternal.

This piece was designed based on my nephew toys. They were scramble on my table so I took picture and draw it.

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat are sailing on the boat together. Then, they get lost. Sassy Cat designs to sleep, keet his energy, and wait for the new day. Unfortunately, Sad Bear is insomnia while Sassy Cat is slumbering.

“There’s a place called café in forest. Let’s check it out.” Sassy Cat said.

“Hmm, they have cakes?”

“Absolutely,” said Sassy Cat with grin on his face.

This piece comes from a challenge with random what to draw and paint. This month are dinosaur and old thing. So, I came up with the idea to mix dinosaur and archaeological site.

To find a way to fix Little Rabbit’s shop, they were traveling to Sea City where it was full with sweeties.

“Mice’s Cheese cake is the best of the world,” Sad Bear read its review on his phone.

“Bullshit,” Sassy swore. “But I want to try it”

”Don’t say that out loud.”

”Which one? I want to try it?”

”No,” Sad Bear said with a sigh, “Bullshit.”

Sad Bear and Sassy Cat - in the pond

In the mystical pond, there’s a dragon and her nest.

Some says it’s dangerous.

Some says it’s wicked.

Sassy says it’s fun.

The sad one says, “up to you, Sassy.”

They are riding the dragon, relaxing in the pond.

Secret Dark Continent

This artwork is commissioned. I and my friend are writing this the Secret of Dark Continents together and we decided to commission myself as an artist, not writer.

This artwork is from fantasy and sci-fi novel (in Thai, sorry). The briefs are that castle with some eagle head or symbol. The city is called Crossword Eagle so there are swords crossing.

“Is that Little Rabbit?” Sad Bear’s curious.

“Maybe?” Sassy is not sure. “She might have a problem again.”

”Or she’s enjoy this chilling night.”
