“ahk” on a keyboard is mean “ฟ้า” or Fah in English. Fahsai is my first name and nickname which means a clear sky day. That’s the first reason why I like blue. The word “Blue” means a lot to me in many ways. Blue can just be a color, a music genre, a person's name, and especially feelings. If I was in Inside out movie, Blue would be the most color I have. But it doesn’t mean I don’t have other colors in my life.

“Booji” I name him after my favorite blue but “Boo” is easier to read. “Ji” is from Bojji in Ranking of Kings because his childhood is similar to mine. He is the first child who grew up with pressures and expectations. He needs to prove to himself that he is strong enough to be free. Bojji’s main color is blue like me.

Booji is a blue character which is a fluid sex and flexible shape depending on my periods, moments, and feelings. So Booji is a reflection of my lifetime expressed through his behavior and favorite hobby.

When I was young

Every time I look back on my first memory, I see a picture of a little girl drawing her favorite views and cartoon characters every day until her dad asks his brother to craft her an easel. She always carries her trusted easel, paper, and watercolors wherever she goes. Especially at the sea, Drawing while listening to the waves and being embraced by the wind makes her feel close and a part of nature.

To grow up

Whenever my parents go to the mall for errands, I always run to the bookstore. Find some books that interest me. Head to a quiet corner. Sit and read like that for a few hours. Wait for my parents to finish their business and come and see me. I asked them to pay so that I could go home with my new friend. I cover it carefully with a plastic dust cover and jot down the date we meet on the opening page. As a child, books were friends who took me to an imaginative world and gave me a lot of new knowledge. For now, books are friends who comfort and encourage me. They make me grow strong enough to face the real world.

Learn to have patience, wait, and bloom

When I was young, I never understood why my dad and grandma loved gardening. All I know is that watering, fertilizing, and using my hands to hum the soil is so much fun. That’s how I like gardening. Over time, I realized that gardening is more than just shady and beautiful. Gardening taught me to have patience and wait because each plant has its own time. Some grow slowly while others grow apace. Rushing time is not an option. Gently and consistently taking care of them is the best thing you can do to prevent them from getting infected. It’s like doing something that needs time to practice and improve. Uncontrollable things, people, and your physical and mental conditions are like infected plants in terms of obstacles. It is necessary to heal and eliminate them to keep growing. Everyone possesses their lifetime. Different times lead to different blooming, so it's best not to compare yourself to others. Consistency is the key to success, but also you need some rest. Please be patient and wait for the day when you can bloom proudly in the way you desire.

My first best friend

I'm the first child growing up in a family with working parents and an elderly woman who does housework all day. When I was around 2. Not only my comfort blanket, but I also had a TV as a friend. Grandma told me when she had to do housework, she would pick me up to sit on a daybed and open the Teletubbies show. I sat still, intently watched it, and paid no attention to anything else. So my mom decided to install a satellite dish at home. At that time, you had few choices for watching special TV programs that weren’t as convenient as nowadays. The older I get, the more I favor cartoons and TV shows like art, games, science, and animal TV shows. I draw cartoon characters while I watch them. Sometimes, I did experiments based on TV shows, asked my parents to buy me a comic book, and searched for a show name and schedule. I wrote it down in a book so I won't miss my favorite show. Being alone never made me feel lonely.

Responsibility

Having a pet is a gift that every child would love. Me as well. Ever since I can remember, I've had the opportunity to get close to my dad and grandma’s pets like fish and birds. I've been assigned to feed, clean, and play with them. During my science class, the teacher told us to catch caterpillars and raise them to study the butterfly's life cycle. That was the beginning of me liking having my pets. I have seen a caterpillar turn into a beautiful butterfly. I raised a small beetle that was lost until it was strong enough to be released back into nature. One day, I met a weak black kitten so I kept feeding it and finding it a place to sleep. Over time, I began to take care of it regularly until my dad saw that I could take care of it, which led to him approving me to have a pet. The first time I realized that raising pets wasn't just fun, but also a responsibility. Her name is Mee, or bear in English. I got this name because his fur is very black and shiny. She has small ears and a Stumpy Manx tail, so she looks like a bear cub. We had a happy time together for almost ten years. She passed away because of illness. She taught me to take responsibility and know how to manage time to take care of her, play, and teach her to go to the toilet. I gained a better understanding of what taking care of others entails. Now, I have a new puppy as a household member. My life was filled with precious moments when I met her.

Connection

I’m used to playing alone. I like to play games and draw on a computer because I had to wait for my dad to get off work at the office. But I also love playing games with friends. I went to their house and we spent all the night together. From a child who didn’t have many friends to a child who had many buddies to play with. Dad always taught me that you have to be a good friend then you will have a good friend too. I never thought that just kids playing games together would make me understand what making friends and living together with others is. Games have taught me to appreciate the value of spending time with others around me.

Independence

Outdoor activities allow me to have fun, challenge, and independence. Especially activities that use speed and agility like roller skating, cycling, and swimming. Every time I did it, I felt as light as a cloud. Ready to float with the wind at all times. But the older we get, the harder life becomes as an adult with duties, responsibilities, expectations, pressure, and competition. These activities become just exercises because sometimes we are not brave enough to rest fully. At least, being an independent person is still there. It teaches me to judge and deal with many things in life well. I have my standpoint and always be myself. I hope in the future I will still be able to feel free.

Mold

My dad used to run a clothing brand. He always took me to the shop with him every weekend. The most thing I do is molding clay. I like molding flowers because I can use many colors. My parents always supported me because they knew I liked crafts and art. They allowed me to take drawing lessons and making batik fabric courses and bought me some plaster and mold so I could make my own dolls to paint. Because of these experiences, I was a little inventor who appreciated anything around her, adapted refuses and mixed them for more benefit, and also appreciated her parents’s love.

Reminder

Have you ever come across some interesting things in your storage room? I found a rectangular box with 2 holes in the middle, and a tape inside. I ran up to the rooftop, pulled it out, and let it fly in the sky like a kite, it was so fun. After being scolded, I found out that it was for listening to music. That was the first time I knew what listening to music felt like, but I didn’t understand what the singer said. I only knew that rhythm and music are both fast and slow, so I became interested in music. In first grade, I used to study piano. Until I had my electronic keyboard, I would often perform it at school Christmas events with my friends. Since then, music has been my friend no matter where I go. Music has become a means for me to recall moments in my life. Whenever the song I've been listening to for months comes on, the memory of that day will immediately come flooding back. It reminds me to think over myself that am I still stuck with bad feelings or memories. Now, I can listen to many of my favorite songs. I can go to my favorite artist’s concert without feeling bad, and I will remember only good times through music.

Memory

Silver Sony Cyber-shot Camera is the first one I ever knew. Dad said he bought it to take me photos because I had often participated in school events like sports day, school performances, and dance competitions. The second one, I found an old black film camera. It’s so light like a toy. My parents use it when they are on vacation or have special moments. I enjoyed looking at films and photo albums so Dad taught me to take photos and video. After that, I became a kid who always carried a camera when she went out, traveled, or even dined out. There are so many memories. Every time I see a photo, it’s like everything just happened yesterday. Even if in reality, someone is no longer there for me to spend time with anymore. That’s why photo albums and image files are so important to me now. Besides memories, photographs are another thing to confirm those moments really happened. People or pets we love will always be with you until you forget them.
