HELLO

It’s Aristration. I go by my name, Arisa and what I do, illustration. I am an independent illustrator and designer based in Bangkok, Thailand. I create artworks that often feature flora, fauna, and feminine subjects.

My creative vision is inspired by a diverse range of sources, including the timeless beauty of Renaissance paintings, the compelling and energetic style of Art Nouveau, the novelty of mid-century modern design the elegance of Japanese and Chinese traditional art, the impressive magnificence of fauna and flora.

Donna Arancia

Arancia, a portrait in my Nature Spirit series, refers to orange in Italian. She portrays the positive and cheerful energy, vivacious and ecstatic expression through the body posture in her own elements.

Donna Fragola

Another portrait in the Nature Spirit series, she expresses herself in a comfort and ease, yet showing a little of her adventurous side with a strawberry in her lips. Her long, curvy hair to enhance the state of being in her elements - spontaneity and easy natural flow.

Anna Blue

A portrait in the Nature Spirit series, Anna Blue, displaying a reserved and regal look on her face, the title refers to the butterfly species symbolising a confirmation of a spiritual purpose and a reminder of your power.

Sylvia

Sylvia, means spirit of the wood, is standing in front of the magical forest looking straight towards us implying this might be the darkest place but as she focuses, she can connect and hear herself better. She see lights.

Leilani

Leilani, means heavenly flower, is exposing herself underneath the wildflowers expressing the free spirit - growing freely in the beauty and joy.

Florence

A friend from afar of Leilani, Florence means blossoming, flourishing and prosperous. As if a part of flora and fauna, she possess a connection with nature and the environment, and they have a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Goddess Nut

Nut is the goddess of the sky, stars, cosmos, mothers, astronomy, and the universe in the ancient Egyptian religion. I portray her in black and white with the primitive elements and a stoic facial expression.

Clio with the Pearl Earring

This is a recreation of the famous Vermeer's, Girl with the Pearl Earring. Clio, intermixing of Eastern and Western, is displaying her bold and beautiful pearl drop earring in a calm and serene look on her face, but her gaze pulls us to presume she’s under some kind of inspiration.

Cynthia

Cynthia, means moon, light or shining, is preserving her liberal yet mysteriously alluring image under the moonlight in a dark forest. This is also a recreation of Coles Phillips’s “The Call of the Wild” with my twist.

Adele

Another recreation series of Wladyslaw Benda’s “Elegant Woman and Afghan Hound” with my twist! Adele is more on a sensual and passionate side right behind her guard hound.
