“NICEJOY” Pattaradanai Motim

An independent artist who tells stories through Blueboo,
a blue-skinned child born from sorrow,
yet always searching for joy.

My creative inspiration often springs from the small things around me, whether it's nature, dreams, memories, or even the complex emotions within the human mind. I love to explore and interpret these elements in various ways. Sometimes, the results might appear abstract, but deep down, they're a reflection of my inner experiences and thoughts.

Blue memories.

It’s the largest work I’ve ever created, adapted into a sticker design for the gallery windows for my first solo exhibition in 2025.

Protection

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 80 x 80 cm

Spending time with my pets always makes me feel protected. It's as if their love, loyalty, and simple gestures like a gentle nuzzle or just lying nearby create a shield, guarding me from external chaos and worry.

Missing you

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 60 x 80 cm

Sometimes, remembering someone doesn't have to come with sadness. The unforgettable love blossoms into a beautiful flower in our hearts, always reminding us of the good times we've shared.

Like a sunflowers

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 100 x 120 cm

This image serves as a symbol, an interpretation of unwavering determination and steadfastness, much like a sunflower that, regardless of the weather, consistently turns its face towards the sun, never turning its back on the light that nourishes its life.

It reflects a spirit that remains undaunted by obstacles, a strong belief in one's goals, and a constant search for light or hope in every situation. No matter how challenging the path, this image conveys unwavering resilience, refusing to give up, and persistently moving forward in the right direction, as if propelled by an unseen force.

Blue flowers

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 60 x 80 cm

Illustration interpreted from flowers, designed in the style of nicejoy.blueboo, characterized by a glossy/shiny appearance, curved shapes, and specific color matching techniques.

Blueboo bimbim bogbog!

Technique: Ceramic

It's about transforming my character design into a ceramic vase.

Into trees

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 100 x 120 cm

They are gone, but soon they sprout and grow into trees like sorrow itself, with time transforming grief into a gentle warmth whenever it’s remembered.

We grow differently, but bloom the same

This piece is inspired by the idea that each person’s growth is unique, but when you meet someone who feels the same, they become your best friend.

Missing you, Less blue

ARTTOY
Created for sale at my first solo exhibition, designed from my paintings and featuring dog and cat characters that represent my beloved pets who have passed away.

My memories

Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimension: 120 x 300 cm

My largest painting to date, inspired by memories of the time I spent with my pets. Those were moments of pure happiness, and I translated that longing into this artwork.
