Hello! I’m WALNUTBOY, a digital artist based in Thailand. Welcome to the world of GARLICS HOOD — a part of myself illustrated in soft, chubby lines and quiet resilience.

GARLICS HOOD is not just a character, but a way I process both the outside world and the fragile emotions within. Through its gentle, round form, I want to remind people that even when the world feels harsh, there’s always room for tenderness — especially toward ourselves.

If my art can make you smile, even just a little, that means the garlic did its job.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

The Balloon

Acrylic on canvas
Size : 60 x 80 cm

The unconditional power of familial love is symbolized by an ever-expanding balloon. A mother and father embrace their child with warmth and tenderness — a love that nurtures growth and fortifies both body and soul.
The balloon represents not only endless love but also the deep, invisible bonds between family members. Every gaze and every touch communicates acceptance, comfort, and unwavering support.

Peace Within Chaos

Acrylic on canvas
Size : 60 x 80 cm

Amidst chaos and the instability of the outside world, warmth and protection become a quiet refuge for the heart. Though the world is filled with uncertainty and challenges, love creates a serene space — a sanctuary of peace and emotional grounding that rises above it all.

Reflection

Acrylic on canvas
Size : 60 x 80 cm

A portrayal of self-love and the determination to pursue one’s dreams. Through one’s own perspective, the past is revisited — seeing the version of oneself who once struggled, persevered, and fought to move forward. The journey may have been difficult, but every step taken then has shaped the dream that becomes reality today.

Garlics Hood in the Dream

A dream that feels real, yet isn't. Dreams are built from fragments of memory — unspoken thoughts, hopes, disappointments, desires, grief, and joy. They often reflect our emotional state at a given moment. And in dreams, sometimes the only thing we can do is nothing — just let it pass.

Reflections of the Self

Acrylic on canvas
Size : 40 x 50 cm

When certain things enter our lives, they may alter the way we perceive the world. As we look around, we no longer see things as we once did. We may unconsciously become one with them — or try to escape, even if what we’re running from is the very essence of who we are.

Multiple

Acrylic on canvas
Size : 40 x 40 cm

This painting reflects the complexity of identity and the many layers of self-expression. It speaks to a self that is multifaceted, yet remains whole — many versions, yet still one.

No Rain No Flowers

Flowers symbolize the goals we strive to achieve. The journey to attain them may be exhausting, lonely, or difficult, and only we know the true extent of our struggles. However, the rewards we gain are always beautiful and worthwhile for those who persevere.

Garlics Hood Floating

This piece expresses the emotional weight that sometimes pulls us into darkness. But when we are able to release those heavy feelings — to unlock what holds us down — it feels like floating up from the depths of the soul.

What’s yours is yours

Violence arises from the pursuit of something greater, whether it be physical superiority or social acceptance from peers. However, these pursuits are not permanent. As one matures, they come to realize that such aspirations were merely foolish. Yet, what cannot be matched or surpassed is the mind or essence of that individual, which continues to evolve with us until we depart from this world.

The Sea of Lost

An exploration of loneliness and helplessness — like being adrift in a vast ocean, alone on a fragile paper boat. It captures the raw vulnerability of being lost without direction or support.
