"This body of work was created from my experiences living among many different people. I moved far from my hometown to live here, and at first, everything felt unfamiliar and new. There were both good moments and chaotic ones, but the people in this area made me feel warm and joyful. I never felt lonely, even though I was living alone. That’s what inspired me to create this series."

My holiday hobby carving , and rest. Printmaking during leisure time records the stories of the surrounding environment, daily life, both ordinary and special days, and provides a delightful hobby.

Some time

"There was a time when I had so much fun at the office — with work, colleagues, seniors, and juniors. There were stressful moments and joyful ones. Time flew by quickly after I resigned from that place. Looking back, there were so many memories. I truly miss it."

Soi Kolit

"I’ve been living in this area for about 14 years, but it wasn’t until around two years ago that I truly felt like I belonged here. The people around me — older neighbors, younger ones, dogs, cats, the security guard, Aunt Daeng the fruit vendor — they have all become my friends. We rely on each other, greet one another, and lend a helping hand. Their presence has kept me from feeling lonely, even though I’ve lived alone in Bangkok for a long time."

Chill Be Ka and Friend

"Chill Be Ka, my dear younger brother, is relaxing in the inflatable pool at home, casually sipping beer with friends on a chill day — while still not having submitted the work to me, haha."

Sukhumvit

"Sukhumvit is a lively area full of places to stroll and packed with design offices. Of course, many of my friends are based there. Those were wonderful days — hanging out, doing part-time jobs, meeting friends, shopping, and just relaxing. The people in this area are incredibly diverse."

My home

"My house is tucked away in Soi Kolit — a right turn, then a left, hidden quietly in this little alley. Every time I enter, the chaos of the capital city seems to disappear. It’s the last house at the end of a narrow, hidden lane, filled with peace and contentment."

Bts Phayathai

"Phaya Thai BTS Station is where I take the skytrain almost every day — going up, going down, in and out, heading to different places. This Phaya Thai junction is truly bustling, filled with both Thais and foreigners."

Train to Phayathai

"This station has it all — the BTS, the Airport Rail Link, Thai trains, and all kinds of public transport. Amidst the tall buildings of the capital, you’ll often see chickens and geese wandering around. There are countless street-side hot pot stalls. It’s such a charming and delightful place."

Noon

"I hadn’t seen a kapok tree since my elementary school days. These days, they’re quite rare, so I was both happy and surprised to find a large kapok tree in this area. When the season comes, the place is filled with its fluffy seed pods."

Roof top swimmimg

"There’s a swimming pool on a high-rise building around here that I’ve noticed for a long time. I often walk past it and look up to see people swimming. I feel a bit shy because the pool is right next to a glass wall, but I’ve seen it so often that I’ve gotten used to it."

Bike W. friend

"Normally, my friends and I just cycle around this area, but at the end of last year, we went riding all the way in Shanghai. It was so much fun! People from around here ended up cycling over there!"

It's amazing how something in black and white can feel so full of life.
