He is passionately dedicated to the continuous creation of art and adept at experimenting with various techniques and media, including illustration, painting, mixed media, animation, and art toys. His work often focuses on creating inhabitable spaces or inner worlds, while exploring the peculiarities hidden within the ordinary aspects of daily life.

The Happy Organ House

This piece compares the human body to a house for the organs, where the inner space is filled with vibrant colors and a connection to nature representing a healthy body and a peaceful mind. It conveys the message that when we take good care of both our physical and mental health, the home within becomes a joyful and harmonious place.

The Infected Organ House

This piece compares the human body to a house for the organs. Inside this house, the dim and colorless atmosphere reflects a sense of infection and emotional decay. The work aims to raise awareness of the importance of caring for both the body and the mind as the two are deeply interconnected and cannot be sustained without one another.

MONSTERS & ME

A curated selection of MONTY’s character designs from the past year each born from emotion, story, and a playful exploration of form.

Galactic Gateway (MONTY x THE KAPCO)

This piece is part of a collaboration between MONTY and THE KAPCO, a computer accessory brand. It portrays gaming as an escape from outer chaos into a calm and safe world. Characters hidden in tree like suits reflect a quiet connection to nature symbolizing self acceptance, hope, and the warmth of being understood. At the same time, the piece serves as a reminder not to lose touch with our deep connection to nature, even within virtual worlds.

(Infected Organ) BEAN Infection

This piece introduces "BEAN" a character who manifests internal symptoms through expressive visual forms from swelling emotions to distorted thoughts. Surrounded by shrieking pink microbes and tangled with exaggerated facial features, BEAN becomes a metaphor for the overlooked signals our body and mind send when something's not right. The work encourages self awareness and reminds us to listen to these signs before it's too late.

(Infected Organ) Hostage

This 70x90 cm acrylic painting portrays “Bronchy Brother” (the lungs) inhaling smoke while aiming a gun at the heart. The piece explores internal conflict where even the white lung, a symbol of good health, takes part in self destruction, while the black lung represents damage already inflicted. The gun pointed at the heart emphasizes the profound impact on the circulatory system and overall health.

(Happy Organ) A Breath of Balance

This illustration of “Bronchy Brother” (the lung), depicted in both white and black within a yin-yang inspired circle, symbolizes the balance of breath and the duality of life joy and sorrow. The concept is grounded in breath control as a pathway to inner harmony. Rendered in bright, calming tones, the piece shifts in meaning based on orientation: with the white lung on top, flowers bloom with smiling faces; with the black lung on top, those faces turn sorrowful. This transformation reflects life’s inherent duality and the insight gained from embracing both sides.

Innocent Interiors

This piece explores the inner world through the outer form of two giant blue doll-like figures guarding a house that resembles a dollhouse. Children often use dollhouses as spaces for imagination places where they can freely create stories as they wish. The dollhouse becomes a symbol of innocence, untouched by judgment and free from the need to protect oneself from the outside world.

SMOKE

The cover design for White Monkey's single SMOKE was a commissioned project inspired by the song’s narrative capturing the city’s vibrant lights and the joy of personal moments. With an open brief from the artists, the design was guided by the emotions evoked while listening to the track.

Iscreamible House

This commissioned project entails creating a home decor piece using acrylic on canvas, inspired by the concept "The House of Ice Cream." The design integrates the client's key life experiences and personal traits into a vibrant, emotionally resonant artwork. The final piece will serve as both a decorative element and a meaningful visual narrative of the client's journey.
