I am a graphic designer and illustrator who uses a variety of methods and styles to tell stories. Most of my work involves designing book covers. I enjoy brutally challenging myself to create covers that best convey the story within the book. It’s always a fortunate experience to peek into someone else’s mind, understand their story, and translate it. However, diving back into my own mind, becoming absorbed, and expressing it through personal projects is equally satisfying.

Ghosts

The book tells a story about relationships that have been cut off, where people disappear from our lives and become like 'ghosts.' So, the story is told using hand shadow, which seem like it doesn't really exist, to form the shape of scissors that are imagined or made-up, cutting a Forget-me-not flower. This flower represents long-lasting connections, remembrance, not being forgotten, and eternal love, whether romantic or platonic.

No in Between

[Personal] It's always either too hot or too cold—there's no in-between.

Illustrations for the Interior of 'The End of One Thing is the Beginning of Something New'

Create an illustration based on the title that shows a deeper meaning, includes a small playful or ironic touch, and tells a story that makes people want to think more.

Take a Seat, and Tell Me Your Story

This is a self-help book written by a Korean psychiatrist, offering life advice on various topics. The cover design features different types of content shown in the table of contents, represented through chairs with unique characters and uses that match each topic. The concept plays with the idea of the “psychiatrist’s chair,” which connects both to the book’s title and its central theme.

A Scratch—01

[Personal]
"Oh! You're bleeding!"
"What? Oh, this? It’s just a scratch."
"But it's actually pretty big."
"Don’t worry, it’s just a scratch. It’s not like it makes life any harder."

A Scratch—02

[Personal]
"Oh! You're bleeding!"
"What? Oh, this? It’s just a scratch."
"But it's actually pretty big."
"Don’t worry, it’s just a scratch. It’s not like it makes life any harder."

Go With the Flow

[Personal] There was a lot of garbage drifting along with the river’s current, and I kept staring as it floated on and on, like a never-ending parade, quietly reflecting on my own life. And then—out of nowhere, a single flower appeared. It looked bruised and fragile, but unbelievably beautiful as it drifted past me, floating among the trash in the polluted river.

Sleeping is a Fake Death

[Personal] When life gets bad, let's just sleep through it.

Old Town, New Folks

Adapted from a piece created for The Bangkokian (with permission), this tells the story of Bangkok’s identity. New ways of life emerging on ancient grounds—and how these two worlds adapt and blend together, while clearly preserving the distinct Thai style and mood.

Layers

[Personal] Back home, I feel free as I peel away each layer of myself.

I can see the growth of your artistry through your style. The way you choose to reveal certain parts while leaving others hidden is intriguing and full of emotion.

Nuchcha’s work has a mood and tone that reminds us of a minimal, simple, and modern style. It gives a calm and soothing feeling, similar to walking through a furniture store filled with the scent of forest-scented candles.
