GC./GC100% is a Thai illustrator whose practice is deeply rooted in the nuanced exploration of femininity, vulnerability, and emotional complexity, often inspired by the traditional Japanese Art of Shibari. Her work often subverts the typical perception of bondage. Through illustrative interpretation rather than photo-realism, she explores a range of complex emotional landscapes, creating a distinct feeling that contrasts with conventional representations of Shibari. Her pieces utilize the tension of the ropes as a powerful visual language to narrate diverse and emotionally resonant stories.
