I’m Sungkyou Bae, an illustrator who captures the dazzling, irreplaceable moments of life with the warmth and depth of analog textures.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been creating illustrations that have resonated with a wide audience. Based in Korea, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a variety of brands including Samsung Electronics, Kakao, Beanpole, Outback, Pascucci, Amorepacific, and McDonald’s.

Through my work, I hope to preserve the fleeting yet precious moments of everyday life—so that each scene, no matter how ordinary, can feel like a frame from a beloved film or animated story.
Moments that are quietly beautiful, yet deeply personal.

You Are My Summer, My Dream, My Everything

I painted this piece to celebrate all the youth of summer—under the blue sea and blue sky, cheering them on with every wave and breeze.

The Warmest Christmas of That Year

In the winter of 2024, many people in Korea went through difficult times. I created this piece with a hope that everyone finds happiness, even in the coldest season.

The Summer I’ll Always Remember

A moment from summer that I want to remember—drawn like a scene from a beloved animation.

December 24th

On Christmas Eve, December 24th, I imagined and illustrated a quiet, magical village of Santa.

That Night, You Were My Brightest Moon

A spring day in full bloom, when cherry blossoms fluttered and my heart overflowed with dazzling, radiant emotions.

City Nights Where My Youth Remains

I depicted the quiet loneliness that hides behind the sparkling lights of a bustling city.

Beneath a Peach-Colored Sky, We Walked

A moment of late summer, filled with the simple joy of being together—just the two of us.

Within the Season of Our Tenderness

A couple at the bus stop, caught in that tender moment of not wanting to say goodbye.

We Were Like a Fading Sunset

The sky glowing with pink twilight—a memory I never want to forget.

To Me, It Was a Dazzling, Shimmering Memory

A dreamlike scene, like flying through the sky as Peter Pan—just as we all once dreamed when we were young.
