Horse Kagami Mochi
Horse Kagami Mochi is a depiction of a traditional Japanese kagami mochi (New Year’s rice cake decoration) inspired by the zodiac animal of the year — the horse.
In the Japanese zodiac, there are twelve animals, and this year represents the Year of the Horse.
Kagami mochi is a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, traditionally displayed during the New Year in Japan.
The horse, known for its energy and determination, represents vitality, success, and forward movement.
Together, they make this a very auspicious and meaningful piece of art.
The Bulldog
“The Bulldog” is a portrait of a bulldog, shown with an unreadable, neutral expression.
By removing visible emotions from its face, I wanted to create a kind of mirror.
Viewers may project their own feelings onto the bulldog, seeing calmness, sadness, frustration, or even peace — depending on their own state of mind.
Using my signature colorful palette, this piece explores the quiet connection between human emotions and the silent presence of animals.
The Princess
The Princess is a traditional Japanese doll, inspired by Ohinasama, displayed during Hinamatsuri, celebrated every March 3rd.
This doll represents the princess in the festival display, and it symbolizes wishes for girls’ health, happiness, and growth.
Using my colorful style, this artwork captures the charm and warmth of the princess doll, celebrating this special Japanese tradition.
The Llama
The Llama is a piece inspired by a memory from when I was living in Ireland and visited the Dublin Zoo.
I couldn’t forget the quiet yet striking expression of a llama I saw there, so I decided to capture it in my own colorful and playful style.
By blending real-life memories with imagination, I reinterpreted the moment through my personal lens.
The Bee
The Bee is a depiction of a bee breaking away from the hive and flying freely on its own.
I often feel like I’m separated from the crowd too, spending a lot of time alone.
Through this piece, I wanted to express the feeling of being alone but still having the freedom to fly wherever you want.
The Chick
The Chick is a piece depicting a chick hatching from an Easter egg.
In Japan, the new school year begins in April, and it also happens to be around the time of Easter.
This artwork reflects both meanings — a new beginning and the fresh start of the season.
Taipei 101
Taipei 101 is a piece depicting the view I saw during several trips to Taiwan for exhibitions.
I reconstructed Taipei 101 and the surrounding city in my own colors and style.
Taipei 101 is one of the tallest buildings in the world and a symbol of modern Taiwan, representing both innovation and the vibrant city life around it.
Ikebana
Ikebana is a piece of traditional Japanese flower arrangement art.
Ikebana emphasizes the natural beauty, harmony, and balance of each flower and branch.
Through this artwork, I expressed the delicate interaction of colors, shapes, and space.
The Giraffe
The Giraffe is a piece inspired by a memory from when I was living in Ireland and visited the Dublin Zoo.
I couldn’t forget the quiet yet striking expression of a giraffe I saw there, so I decided to capture it in my own colorful and playful style.
By blending real-life memories with imagination, I reinterpreted the moment through my personal lens.
Wonder Garden
Wonder Garden is a whimsical piece showing a colorful and imaginative garden.
Using vibrant colors and playful forms, I created a space where nature feels magical and alive.
This artwork captures the joy of discovery, finding unexpected things, and the sense of wonder you feel when stepping into a garden.
