Group of Good People, Talented Story Tellers, and Obsessive Craftsmen.
We help brands grow, scale, and stand out by building exciting things.

The Print Shop

The moment I stepped into your shop, I exclaimed: "Uncle, your vintage presses and metal types still live! Such treasures!"
When I meet artisans who keep old crafts breathing, praise spills forth unguarded, heartfelt.I hope they don't find me too dramatic— it’s just my way of saying: you are wonderful.

A Small Shop, A Little Town

Perhaps watching Grandpa open his shop each day, I learned to love the sound of the metal shutters rolling upward—
the sound that signals
another hopeful beginning.

Wong Koh Kee Restaurant

This was Grandma’s favorite restaurant.
Sitting inside now, my sister whispers that she can almost hear Grandma’s voice scolding her, as clear as in our schooldays.
Me too.

Hoong Tho Restaurant

Nestled in Ipoh's Old Town for more than half a century, some say Hongthou isn’t what it used to be; others insist the dishes here are true culinary artistry, flavors you can’t find anywhere else.

After traveling far and wide, I’ve set aside my pride—realizing that the essence of good food is truly the taste of memory.

The Coliseum old Cinema

When elders recall days gone by,
they always seem to drift back to the cinema: memories of sneaking in, tugging lightly at strangers' sleeves, the thrill of free movies, then conversations flowing easily from ticket prices of old to the slow sigh of inflation today.

Signboard Shop

Rumor said you seldom smiled and often shooed strangers away—
but lucky me, that first day I saw your gentle grin and shared a simple plate of chap fan.
Master Zhou, ever carving signboards
with a cigarette dangling lightly from your lips, may your retirement be etched in peace, joy, and health.

Angkat Rumah

Villagers once hoisted entire houses upon their shoulders, carrying them together with laughter down the street.
These days, this joyful gotong royong
may live only in the dance of paper-cutting blades, but still we lift—
and the warmth remains.

Treehouse, Papan

Watching old shops fade away,
we sense the soft passage of time—
yet in their place, small new lives nestle quietly.
Have you noticed them too?

Kwong Fook Wing Tailor

Founded in 1915, Kwong Fook Wing Tailor is celebrated for exquisite English-style tailoring. Now in the hands of its third-generation owner, Datuk Khong once reminisced proudly:
"Anybody who is somebody has walked through these doors,"
a testament to the quiet elegance of true craftsmanship.

20th Floor

How curious—
in a world long before skyscrapers,
small-town flats were named after lofty floors.
Here in my hometown is our humble “20th Floor,”alongside its siblings, the "15th" and "9th"—
strangely popular spots for quiet goodbyes.

I think the way you bring buildings to life through your illustrations and paper crafts is really fascinating.
