Hi, I’m Sunsabea. I express my feelings, beliefs, and dreams through curly lines drawing. I create characters that tell personal stories I can’t always explain with words.
My inspiration comes from my beliefs. Sometimes they’re rooted in reality, sometimes in fantasy, or in worlds I want to escape to. Whether they’re beautiful or scary, I love both. It’s how I explore what’s inside me. It’s my journey and adventure.
Through my art, I hope others feel something real and maybe find a piece of their own story too.
The Devil’s Lullaby
Inspired by the psychological film Sinner, this surreal piece reimagines the Delta blues legend of musicians trading their souls at the crossroads. A dual-faced figure plays a ghostly tune as demons, masked in vibrant forms, linger nearby. The blues, sweet and sorrowful, hides a dark deal. In Sinner, beauty is desire’s disguise and each note a quiet pact with the devil.
Now I Understand
Inspired by To Kill a Mockingbird, this piece reflects on empathy and perspective, ideas that grew on me long after high school. As Atticus Finch said, true understanding comes from seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. The artwork explores that emotional space between people where empathy begins. Colorful, surreal, and a bit unsettling, it turns a classroom memory into something deeply personal.
12 Signs, 12 Stories
This digital art series reimagines the twelve zodiac signs as cute, distinct characters, each inspired by astrological traits and mythological roots. Blending storytelling with symbolic detail, it explores personality, emotion, and identity. The collection invites reflection on how the zodiac connects us to something timeless and deeply human.
The Deal Beneath the Cauldron
This digital artwork explores the hidden cost of our deepest desires. Sometimes, to get what we want most, we offer up parts of ourselves we never meant to lose. It reflects the quiet deals we make within, and the pieces we trade away in pursuit of something greater.
Let Me Grow
This illustration is about real growth. Like a flower breaking out of its seed and pushing through soil to reach the light. The characters are flowers with human heads, looking cute and a bit silly. Growth can be awkward, joyful, and confusing. Everyone grows differently. The style is simple and colorful with soft shapes and bright colors. Growing can hurt but it is also something to smile about. What does your growth look like?
Scary Shit Also Has Heart
These characters look like monsters but they feel like family. Some look strange or silly but they all smile. This art is about anything treated badly for being different. Everything alive has feelings. Scary doesn’t mean heartless.
Sawasdee Jao (Character Design for Sunsabea.bkk, 2025)
This character represents Sunsabea, a halal café and restaurant serving Northern Thai food with warmth and cultural pride. The "wai gesture" shows hospitality and respect. Its many arms hold khao soi, desserts, drinks, gelato, and a paintbrush for local art. The design blends street style and tradition, uniting food, art, culture, and care.
Everything I’ve Ever Dreamed of Becoming: Yeah, I’m a Witch
This character honors Hekate, goddess of magic and transformation. She guides through shadow and protects witches. She is a powerful symbol of feminine strength.
Her arms hold a torch, keys, and eyes on her hands show inner vision.
Everything I’ve Ever Dreamed of Becoming: Queen of the Deep
She is a sea queen, master of her own waters. Strong and soft, with a beauty all her own.
Her crown glows, her pink scales shimmer. She belongs here, fully and freely.
This design speaks of becoming whole, of leading with gentle strength. She is the fear we all once carried.
Slasher Rules
This art is inspired by a lesson I loved in my high school media studies class in New Zealand. We studied the “Five People Slasher Rule,” a pattern where five classic characters appear in many horror movies, each playing an important role. There’s the brave Final Girl, the loud Jock, the bold Pretty One, the smart Nerd, and the quirky Free Spirit. I wanted to capture these familiar roles because horror can be scary but also comforting. This piece is my way of honoring that.

♡ About My Technique ♡
I always draw with curly lines. You will not find a single straight line in my work. Even if it looks straight at first, look closer and you will see the little curves hiding there. I love how they make everything feel alive.
I never use a custom brush to make my lines automatically curly. Every curve is drawn by hand. I like how the small imperfections blend together and become something that feels right to me. Maybe it is not perfect, but it is perfectly mine.
Beauty is Pain
A digital art exploration of how perfection cuts deeper than we admit. Every stitch, every smile, every thorn, stitched into the fabric of identity.
Freak is Cool, Normal is Boring
A celebration of the strange, the misunderstood, and the beautifully unusual. This series reimagines the classic freak show as a stage of pride and individuality, a place where difference shines instead of hides.
Each character, the hairy woman, the strong man, the clown, the dwarf, and the spider woman, carries their own kind of magic. They are mirrors of what society calls too much or not enough, yet together they create something honest and alive.
I have always loved the weird and the freakish. I never find perfection or popularity attractive, it feels like cloning. I prefer what is raw, imperfect, and real. Because in the end, being different is not strange at all, it is the most human thing we have.
Stella Witch
Stella Witch listens to the stars and traces fate in their light. She shows us that even in darkness, our stories sparkle like constellations.
Shrunken Head
The shrunken head was once a sacred talisman in South American tribes, believed to carry a spirit’s power and offer protection.
Voodoo, often shown as dark sorcery, is in truth a living culture rich with healing, herbal wisdom, and protective rituals. It is not black magic but a spiritual path that holds both light and shadow, rooted in belief and identity.
SOUL CONTRACT
Is there really nothing, no thing, no story, no one that we’d be willing to trade our soul for? Maybe going to hell isn’t as bad as living without the one thing we truly desire in this world right now. It’s all up to how you choose to see it.
Flushed Vampire
Blood, moonlight, and endless nights. The vampire flirts with danger, teases the living, and laughs at time itself. Immortality is chaotic, delicious, and undeniably fun.
Frankenstein's monster
Frankenstein’s Monster, the tragic creation of Victor Frankenstein, born from science and solitude, searching for understanding in a world that fears him.
Fairytopia Collection
Step into Fairytopia, a world where flowers giggle, petals twirl, and colors shimmer with magic. Each little bloom has its own personality, a story to tell, and a spark of joy to share. These tiny flower friends remind us that even the smallest things can brighten the world.
Self Hybrid
Maybe each of us is a different kind of Hybrid.
We’re not made from one single thing, but from little fragments of what we’ve lived through.
Family, friends, memories, scars, and small joys, all stitched together into the person standing here today.
FAIRY WISH
Sometimes, life doesn’t demand a trade at all for the things we long for. There’s always a quiet light holding us gently, like a fairy godmother offering three wishes to choose from. Joy, love, or dreams, they’re already waiting, all we have to do is reach for them.
