Ever since I was young, I dreamed of becoming a professional comic artist.
Life, however, took an unexpected turn and led me to a career in academia, where I now work as a university lecturer. But I never let go of that dream. In every spare moment, I kept drawing quietly, persistently, passionately. The work you’re about to see is the result of that lifelong pursuit. It is not just an illustration it's a piece of my story, drawn with hope, resilience, and a love that never faded.

Silent Companions

In the midst of a sprawling, chaotic city, a young woman finds herself emotionally lost—until she encounters a stray cat with eyes that seem to understand her soul.
The cat doesn't speak, yet it becomes her quiet guide, leading her through the noise, the loneliness, and back toward herself.
Their bond is wordless but deep, built on trust, warmth, and shared silence.
“Silent Companions” captures that fragile, unexpected connection through delicate pencil linework and subtle cross-hatching textures.
This illustration reflects a moment of stillness, comfort, and companionship in a world that rarely pauses.

The Grey Guide

In the midst of a bustling city, a woman finds herself lost—not just in place, but in life.
On a quiet street, she encounters a black cat with knowing eyes.
This unexpected meeting begins a silent journey of companionship.
The cat becomes her gentle guide, leading her through hidden corners and forgotten paths, reminding her that sometimes, even in the most unfamiliar places, connection finds us first.

A Quiet Interlude / Threads of Connection

In a world of constant motion, 'A Quiet Interlude: Threads of Connection' reflects the inherent beauty found in the simplicity of everyday life. This piece captures a fleeting moment where a young person is tying their shoelaces – a small act of preparation before embarking on a new journey, whether literal or metaphorical.
Beside them, a grey cat sits as a silent companion, its gaze fixed outwards, suggesting an awareness and perception of the surroundings distinct from the human's focused attention. The cat's presence not only adds an intriguing element to the composition but also symbolizes the 'unseen companions' or overlooked connections that are an integral part of our lives.
Rendered with meticulous linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, this artwork emphasizes the depth of emotion and atmosphere, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the meaning of 'halting' and 'preparing.' It also highlights the natural bond that forms between us and the living beings around us. Through this illustration, I hope to evoke a sense of tranquility, an appreciation for the subtle beauty in the mundane, and inspiration to step forward with an open heart.

The Crossroads Gaze

In every journey of life, we encounter moments where we must pause and look back, or turn to face something that suddenly appears before us. 'The Crossroads Gaze: An Unspoken Invitation' captures a young woman moving forward, yet compelled to turn and meet the gaze of a still, observant grey cat.
The woman's posture, with her backpack, suggests a continuous journey, but her glance back signifies a halt, a moment of reflection, or perhaps an invitation from an 'unforeseen companion.' The grey cat, staring directly at the viewer, is not merely an element in the composition; it acts as a messenger, a questioning gaze, or a symbol of a choice that could lead to a new path.
This artwork is meticulously rendered with intricate linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, highlighting the depth of character and complex emotions against a minimalist background. This simple yet powerful composition invites viewers to contemplate the meaning of unexpected encounters, the decisions made at each step, and the profound connections forged in a fleeting moment of shared gaze.

Rhythm of the Junction

In this series, 'Rhythm of the Junction: Whispers from the Rails,' I invite viewers to experience the unique atmosphere of a train station in Thailand, specifically at Thamonchira Junction and Jira Junction in Nakhon Ratchasima. These hubs serve as vital connecting points for countless lives and stories each day.
These three panels capture moments of motion suspended in time: from individuals waiting on the platform, to trains resting as if gathering energy, to the bustling life within the carriages, and the myriad expressions on the faces of travelers. Each panel is a fragmented glimpse into the daily rhythm of life – the waiting, encountering, and departing – occurring repeatedly like the very breath of the station.
Utilizing meticulous linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, every detail of the architecture, people, and textures is brought to life. This technique creates a nostalgic ambiance and allows viewers to deeply connect with the emotions of those whose lives are intertwined with these iron paths. I hope this series serves as a 'whisper' that encourages viewers to pause and contemplate the narratives and dimensions of life hidden within the rush of every journey.

Heart on Journey

In a world where technological advancement and traditional ways of life intertwine, 'Charting My Course: Map in Hand, Heart on Journey' is a series that tells the story of a young woman's travels at Jira Junction in Nakhon Ratchasima – a bustling hub of people and movement.
This series opens by presenting the young woman amidst the familiar train station atmosphere. She embodies the modern independent traveler, ready to explore the world on her own terms, guided by both internal resolve (depicted by her confident gaze) and modern technology (her focus on the map on her mobile phone). Each panel reveals moments of contemplation, searching, and determined progression, all within a vibrant, bustling environment.
The artwork is meticulously crafted with intricate linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, which powerfully emphasizes emotions, surroundings, and the complex nuances of travel. The use of a comic strip format allows viewers to follow the character's internal and external journey sequentially. Through this series, I hope to reflect the real-life journeys of everyone, where we all hold a 'map' in hand, in whatever form it takes, and possess a 'heart' ready to guide us to our next destination.

Sidewalk Tales

In this series, 'Sidewalk Tales: Urban Threads of Connection,' I invite viewers to experience the beauty hidden within the ordinary moments of urban life, particularly along Thanon Jira. It's a place where people and various creatures coexist in subtle harmony.
This artwork unfolds a narrative through the eyes of a young traveler. As she steps through an entrance into a new space, her gaze is drawn to a grey cat resting by the wayside. The panels depict a sequence of delicate observation: from entering a space, pausing, turning attention, and finally, extending a hand to connect. It's a small yet profound interaction between human and animal within a bustling city, reflecting empathy and a wordless bond.
Crafted with meticulous linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, every element in the illustration—from the textures of the buildings and stones to the cat's expressive eyes—is brought to life, imbued with narrative and emotion. The multi-panel comic strip format orchestrates the sequence of events and feelings, allowing viewers to follow the character's emotional journey and appreciate the significance of shared spaces and the beauty discovered in the creatures around us.

The Silent Observer

In a world of constant motion, sometimes all we need is to pause and observe. 'The Silent Observer: Eyes Full of Stories' is a series that invites viewers to delve into the world of a grey feline, an integral part of urban life and a silent sentinel of daily routines.
The top panel presents the cat in harmonious repose on a stone wall, reflecting its natural integration into the environment. The bottom panel, a magnified close-up, reveals every intricate detail of its face, fur, and most importantly, its eyes—which convey intelligence, curiosity, and a myriad of untold stories this cat has witnessed and perceived.
This artwork is meticulously crafted with fine linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, which strikingly brings to life the cat's fur, the contours of its face, and the depth of its gaze. The transition from a wider view to an intimate close-up allows viewers to deeply connect with the cat's emotions and its unique 'individuality,' as if making direct eye contact. I hope this piece sparks a sense of endearment, understanding, and an appreciation for the intrinsic value of these small beings who share our spaces and stories every day.

A World Revealed

In a world where our attention is often drawn by the glow of screens, 'When the Screen Goes Dark: A World Revealed' is a series that invites viewers to rediscover the true vibrancy that exists right before their eyes. This work explores the world of urban cats through their diverse postures and expressions, each reflecting a unique personality.
The series begins by showcasing the lively expressions of cats in various poses, from a natural yawn to a gaze filled with calm curiosity. It then shifts perspective to a young traveler quietly observing one of these felines, culminating in a close-up of a mobile phone with a darkened screen – symbolizing a 'disengagement' from the digital world to embrace the 'real world' around us.
Crafted with meticulous linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, every detail of the cats' fur, their expressed emotions, and the surrounding atmosphere is brought to life with striking depth and vitality. The use of a comic strip format creates a narrative sequence that prompts viewers to contemplate the importance of 'being present' and to discover the beauty, connection, and untold stories hidden in every corner of daily life.

Tales from the Sidewalk

In the series 'Urban Rhythms, Intimate Glimpses: Tales from the Sidewalk,' I invite viewers to immerse themselves in the experience of urban exploration in Thailand, particularly within the familiar landscapes of train junctions and streets in Nakhon Ratchasima Province – places brimming with often-overlooked daily narratives.
This body of work follows a quiet observer's journey, perceiving the city's unique rhythms through careful observation, serendipitous encounters, and connections with their surroundings. This includes the fleeting interactions with fellow travelers, the vibrant bustle of train stations, and the serene presence of urban feline companions – specifically, the grey cat who emerges as a silent sentinel, a symbol of tranquility, and a wordless friendship. The juxtaposition of navigating with modern technology (such as smartphone maps) and moments of disengaging from screens to fully absorb the tangible world, reflects a contemporary quest for balance between digital connectivity and genuine presence.
Rendered with meticulous linework and monochromatic (black and white) shading, every element is brought to life with striking depth and vitality, creating an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and inherently contemporary. The diverse use of multi-panel layouts orchestrates the narrative, shifts focus, and unveils deeper layers of observation.
My hope for 'Urban Rhythms, Intimate Glimpses' is that it inspires viewers to pause, breathe, and truly see the beauty, meaning, and interconnectedness hidden within the intricate details of our everyday lives, especially in the shared existence between humans and the creatures with whom we share our urban spaces.
