Hello, I'm Viwenny.
I am an artist and illustrator from Thailand, specializing in landscape illustrations.
My paintings are filled with details I intentionally include — from brushstrokes, people, sheep, cows, trees, to the story of learning to know myself better and the love I want to share, showing how beautiful life and this world truly are.
I hope you’ll look closer and discover the meaningful stories I’ve hidden within. :)

**Inspiration from my aunt at Switzerland and my travel at Taiwan**

The moment

I traveled abroad alone, wandering through an unfamiliar city and discovering new places by chance and this was one of them. Turning it into a painting was surprisingly difficult, but the process taught me to adapt, step back, and explore new creative paths. Much like walking through a strange city without a map, I learned to trust the journey.

All I need

This was one of the places I traveled to alone. I’m someone who tends to worry about the unknown, but the moment I saw it, my first thought was, “I didn’t know the world could be this beautiful.” It was so breathtaking, it almost brought me to tears. That moment became the beginning of my desire to see more of the world.

Enough

My early December trip to Taipei seemed ordinary, but I clearly remember the winter scents and atmosphere. It brought back old memories. Painting this piece not only helped me connect with the present but also brought back the warm feelings of the past.

Warm silence

I don’t usually include personal love stories in my work. But this might be the first piece where I did. To others, it may look like just a simple image of love between two people. But to me, it’s more than that. Because learning to love myself to truly accept who I am began with the experience of being loved well.

In this light

This painting captures a moment from my solo journey and the sweet connections I observed between passing strangers. It reminds me that true love begins with loving ourselves, whether we are alone or with others.

Still, I bloom

In my Sun Moon Lake collection, this is the first painting where I truly encountered that place, a place that broke down all my fears and worries. Though this painting can’t compare to the real scene, it holds the beauty of nature, the courage I found to step out of my comfort zone, and the lingering fear whispering, “You can’t travel alone.” But in the end, I did. I wish I could share these stories a hundred times, but the best way I know is to paint them. So this piece is filled with many emotions of mine.

Sunset time

This piece began as a way to capture a travel memory. But while painting it, I realized something. The people I crossed paths with along the way became just as meaningful. A beautiful view alone wasn’t enough to complete the picture. It was the quiet presence of those passing moments, those small connections, that made it whole.

Afternoon

This piece tells a story of not giving up. I reworked it so many times and almost gave up on it completely. But a quiet voice in my head said, "Try once more." In the end, it became a finished piece — a reminder that effort matters, and that giving up too soon means never knowing what could have been.

Home in you

As I fully stepped into adulthood, my grand dreams faded away. What remained were simple wishes: a warm home, a few pets, the chance to travel where I desire, and the people I love.

Stay Soft

In the end, we’re all just small humans on this earth with no one playing the hero, heroine, or lead role.

"A Room Within, A World Around" Solo Exhibition (2025) by M Contemporary

When once-grand dreams of the past gently unfold into simplicity, they transform into heartwarming art, yet delicately laced with quiet shadows of solitude. These subtle traces of longing, perhaps, deserve a quiet corner in the landscape of our lives.

“Look Closer” Solo Exhibition (2024) by Street Star Gallery

“Look Closer”, Viwenny’s first solo exhibition, invites people to come closer to explore and observe small details in her vast landscape. Her tiny characters, both people and animals, as tiny as dots, are filling the space with their own stories, giving her landscape paintings a sense of stillness, but also a sense of movement, with a touch of silence that does not feel lonely.
