Inspired by my time at the Taipei Illustration Fair, this artwork captures the vibrant chaos of people and sounds. I chose playful, unexpected colors to bring the market’s lively energy to life.

With the resurgence of Y2K nostalgia, I found myself transported back to childhood memories—my first flip phone, the Ghibli films I loved, and the days of calling friends instead of texting. I revived these moments in a lively GIF.

Spicy and Numbing Mala

In Shanghai, there are often street‑front shops with a unique charm. Walking through the city on a cold night, eating spicy, numbing mala made me feel so good that I was inspired to create this image.

Tackle shop

Japan is another country full of local specialty shops. I stumbled upon a tackle shop by chance, run by a single uncle. I imagined that if his grandchildren were helping, the shop would be even more colorful

Handcraft fishing bite

After discovering this uncle’s shop name, I learned it specializes in handcrafted fishing lures. This illustration tells their story: the uncle crafting lures by hand, and the grandchildren testing insect‑style baits in different waters

I want a love like l’ve seen in the movie

Inspiration for this painting often comes from around me. I love watching rom-coms and used to rent CDs all the time. I wondered—what if I met someone special in a rental shop, just like in a rom-com? It felt so charming that I wanted to capture it in my work

Become a flower

This piece continues the theme from the previous art toy I made: a hamster dressed as Lily of the Valley. It’s a playful transformation—‘become a flower.
