A designer, an art therapist, and an artist who has only recently returned to chase a dream that was left behind for so long.

A dream that was once abandoned until a broken heart was slowly gathered back together through painting.

This is a return to art—not only to heal myself, but with the hope that these paintings may also bring healing to someone else's heart.

Because sometimes, the pain we carry inside is simply longing to be seen. Longing for someone to recognize our wounds and understand the scars we carry for one another.

Or perhaps, it is enough to know that somewhere in this world, there is someone else who still feels...the same way you do.

There is still someone here, standing with you, hurting in a way that is not so different from yours.

A Little Girl from the Slope Field

When the pain feels too heavy and your heart begins to break, what could help lighten it, even just a little?

In moments of feeling not enough flawed, tired, or overwhelmed. when tears blur the world around you,

Shelette is the small girl who appears, offering an umbrella for the rain inside your heart.
Born in a quiet meadow on a gentle slope, she awakens at the sound of rain.

Familiar with darkness, storms, and snow, she travels to those whose world is fading or falling apart.

From the quietest corner of her heart, she comes for you—the one standing in the rain.

A Beautiful Little Bell

Once, there was a little bell that rang and rang, just because everyone expected it to.

It glimmered softly under the moonlight, letting out a gentle, lovely chime believing that this was where its worth came from.

The little bell continued to sing, even though each sound was made by something inside it striking against itself,

all so others would turn their heads… while it quietly hid its own ache.

What would it take, it wondered, to ring without hurting?

And was something missing within its heart?

A Hidden Wolf from God

How long have I been asleep?
I was hidden for so long that I almost forgot. I used to be a lone wolf, strong and self-reliant.

Zeph loved silence, the open forest, the morning wind, and the warmth of afternoon light.
He could protect himself from anything.

Until one day, bright and beautiful people appeared.

And suddenly, loneliness arrived—perhaps for the first time.
For the first time, he wanted to be seen.

How could he ever become a part of those bright, radiant people?
They shone so intensely it was almost enviable.

So lonely…

When Compassion Helps the Bell Find the Wolf

The little bell's beautiful voice is finally heard by the girl with the umbrella.
She realizes that every time the bell rings to chase away loneliness, something deep inside trembles with pain.

Hidden within, almost forgotten, is a little wolf locked away so the bell could go on singing.

Because forgetting who we once truly were is a sorrow too painful to bear.

The Lost Boys

A lost boy stands upon an island of loneliness,
high above the world—
fragile,
unsteady.

A ladder waits beside him,
ready to lead him down.
Yet he cannot see it.

And some are too frightened to climb,
because they do not know
what lies below.

When the Lost Boy Meets Compassion

The lost boy finally climbs down from the fragile island he has stood upon for so long,

still carrying everything
he has borne alone.

He no longer knows where he is going, or why.

On a day when the rain falls without end, when hope has almost disappeared, how comforting it would be if someone simply opened an umbrella and softly said,

"It's okay. Come out of the rain for a while."

Mask Girl

A little girl in a mask walks into a land of mist and smoke.

She is searching for someone— someone who might mend the cracks in the mask she has worn for so long.

Her skin is dark, yet she hides behind a white face shaped by what the world calls beautiful.

She dresses in bright, princess-like clothes that never truly belong to her,

hoping that, perhaps, someone will finally accept her.

The Broken Mask

The white mask is cracked,
its surface stained by tears.

Behind it,
a face lies
twisted beneath the weight
of hidden pain.

The painted smile,
the eyes shaped to meet everyone's expectations—

stand in painful contrast
to the heart
concealed within.

When Compassion Meets the Inner Self

The girl with the umbrella finds the fragile Mask Girl,
already on the verge of falling apart.

To be truly seen. To be accepted...for who she really is.

A fragile heart begins to grow warm.

Someone finally sees the heavy rain falling behind her shattered eyes.

And for a little while, she finds a place where she can gently set down the mask she has worn so tightly.

And that alone is enough to bring…a little warmth.

When All the Pain Rests Beneath Self Compassion

When every wound is finally seen, and given a place to soften, to breathe, to simply be.

When the mask can finally be removed, and tears no longer need to hide.

When heavy burdens can be set upon the ground, and there is somewhere to rest, even without knowing where the journey will lead next.

When warm sand becomes a place to play, instead of a place to bury ourselves.

And when the little bell is finally free to soar across the open sky—

that is when we finally turn toward our own heart.
