BONYUKI Profile Born in Tokyo. Painter / artist. The eyes in her works, often drawn off-center and beyond conventional frames, affirm human imperfection and ambiguity. Influenced by picture books, cartoons, and manga she loved as a child, her style blends storytelling and playfulness with line drawings that intentionally preserve a sense of imperfection and subtle discomfort. Alongside her fine art practice, she works with clients on shop logos, character design, and artwork for apparel brands, and is active both in Japan and internationally, based in Tokyo.
