| I'm Idoia Izumi, a French-spanish artist and illustrator based in Tokyo. My practice moves between painting, drawing, textiles and sculpture, combining traditional techniques with subtle digital interventions. For over 20 years, I've collaborated with clients in fashion, publishing, children's projects, and wellness, including Givenchy, Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, and Beyoncé. Living in Japan has deeply shaped my artistic universe. Inspired by nature, Japanese aesthetics, and celestial symbolism, I explore femininity, botanical forms, and the cosmos through quiet, textured compositions that invite contemplation and bring a sense of gentle strength. |
