Nat Kunyapat (Thai, 1993) is a Bangkok-based illustrator and multidisciplinary designer. Her work spans digital and print, from hand-drawn illustrations to visual design. She loves to grow lush, nature-filled worlds in her artwork, despite having no green thumb in real life. Her style blends organic forms, bold accents, and a gentle appreciation for the world around her.

Slow Grow

Inspired by the saying “slow and steady,” this piece follows a tortoise from hatching to adulthood. Growth takes time, but moving at your own pace can lead to strong, steady steps.

Out of the Pot

An exploration of possibilities through a group of flowers searching for 28 new flower pots. Some pots of my choices a picked in this gif are rotten socks, seashells, to a big garden. Created with mixed media: watercolor, acrylic, pencil, and ink, layered over Riso Gocco Prints on colorful papers.

Chatting

One of my favorite things to talk about with my friends is animals. We can go on for hours, chatting about everything from the tiniest bugs to the biggest whale in the ocean.

Meower & Floofer (client: NocNoc)

Hand-pulled screen prints for Nocnoc, a marketplace for home goods. So I explored a theme connected to home, and chose pets. They’re the ones who make a house feel warm and lived-in, and the illustrations highlight their playful personalities. Even when they turn into little troublemakers, they still fill your days with smiles and laughter.

Sea and Sky

A risograph print inspired by scuba diving. The calm, weightless feeling of being underwater, almost like a bird gliding through still air. Meanwhile, life bustles all around below. This unique experience is brought to life through 2-color risograph and bubble-shaped die cuts to add to that airy feeling.

LINE Stickers (client: Dusit Central Park)

24 LINE stickers for Dusit Central Park, inspired from the lush green and the ecosystem of their rooftop park. What we all city people need among these skyscrapers.

Quiet Space

A repeat pattern on the concept of tranquility from my latest solo exhibition. The wind drifts through a dreamscape of peaceful waters, floating clouds, and creatures at rest. The tranquil world repeats without end.

The Waiting Boat

A story about a group of friends setting sail down the river. Sometimes the sun is out, sometimes it rains, and you never really know what’s coming next. Through their journey, the piece explores uncertainty and the choice between comfort and adventure.

A Good Day Off

A mini comic about my good day off, napping.

Dragon Year Gift Box (client: Amarin Group)

This exclusive box set was designed as a 2024 New Year gift for Amarin Group’s clients. Inspired by the Year of the Wood Dragon, illustration of a dragon that embodies generosity and vibrancy, symbolizing a joyful welcome to the new year. Flowers and fungi bloom from the dragon to represent prosperity, while floral patterns on both sides of the box complete the design with a touch of festive.
