มานี (มณีวรรณ ชิวปรีชา) เป็นนักออกแบบลวดลาย (Pattern Designer) และนักวาดภาพประกอบชาวไทย ผู้สนใจนำแรงบันดาลใจจากลวดลายไทยโบราณ งานหัตถศิลป์ และอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรม มาต่อยอดเป็นผลงานร่วมสมัยที่ผสานศิลปะ การเล่าเรื่อง และการออกแบบเข้าด้วยกัน ปัจจุบันกำลังศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทด้านการออกแบบศิลปะ โดยมุ่งสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ของการนำลวดลายไทยมาตีความใหม่ผ่านภาพประกอบและการออกแบบลวดลาย เพื่อสร้างผลงานที่ยังคงกลิ่นอายของวัฒนธรรมไทย แต่สามารถสื่อสารกับผู้คนในบริบทร่วมสมัยได้

มานีเชื่อว่ามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมไม่ควรถูกเก็บรักษาไว้เพียงในพิพิธภัณฑ์ แต่สามารถเติบโตและมีชีวิตต่อได้ผ่านการออกแบบ ในทุกผลงาน เธอจึงมุ่งหวังที่จะสร้างบทสนทนาระหว่าง "รากเหง้าทางวัฒนธรรม" และ "ความร่วมสมัย" เพื่อถ่ายทอดเสน่ห์ของศิลปะไทยในมุมมองใหม่ และทำให้วัฒนธรรมไทยยังคงงอกงามผ่านความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของคนรุ่นใหม่

Mani (Maneewan Chuewpreecha) is a Thai pattern designer and illustrator whose work is inspired by the richness of Thai cultural heritage. Drawing from traditional Thai motifs, craftsmanship, and cultural identity, she reinterprets these elements into contemporary pattern design and illustration, blending art, storytelling, and design into a distinctive visual language.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Art Design, her creative practice explores new possibilities for reimagining traditional Thai patterns through illustration and surface pattern design. She seeks to preserve the essence of Thai culture while presenting it in ways that resonate with contemporary audiences.

Mani believes that cultural heritage should not remain confined to museums, but continue to evolve through creative expression. Through every piece, she creates a dialogue between tradition and modernity, offering fresh perspectives on Thai culture while celebrating its enduring beauty through contemporary design.

พวงมาลัย-Thai Garland-泰式花环

พวงมาลัย เป็นผลงานที่นำลวดลายดอกไม้จากเครื่องเงินไทยโบราณมาตีความและจัดวางใหม่ให้เกิดเป็นรูปทรงของพวงมาลัยไทย ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งการต้อนรับ ความเคารพ และความปรารถนาดีในวัฒนธรรมไทย องค์ประกอบหลักของผลงานได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก ดอกพิกุล ที่ถูกนำมาใช้เป็นแกนกลางของโครงสร้าง ขณะที่ ดอกพุดตาน ถูกเรียบเรียงให้เชื่อมต่อกันเป็นสายอุบะและส่วนประกอบของพวงมาลัย พร้อมผสานลวดลายไทยและรายละเอียดจากเครื่องเงินโบราณเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน เพื่อสร้างจังหวะ ความสมดุล และความต่อเนื่องของลวดลาย

Thai Garland reinterprets traditional floral motifs found in ancient Thai silverware into the form of a Thai floral garland, a cultural symbol of welcome, respect, and good wishes.
The composition is built around the Pikul flower, which serves as the central structural element, while the Puttan flower is rearranged to form the hanging garland and decorative floral strands. Traditional ornamental motifs and silverwork details are carefully recomposed to create rhythm, balance, and harmony throughout the pattern.

Through this work, traditional Thai craftsmanship is transformed into a contemporary surface pattern, demonstrating how cultural heritage can be preserved and reimagined through modern design.

Mani Bloom คือแบรนด์ที่เกิดจากความเชื่อว่า วัฒนธรรมไทยสามารถเติบโตและผลิบานต่อไปได้ผ่านการออกแบบร่วมสมัย ชื่อแบรนด์มาจากคำว่า "Mani" ซึ่งเป็นชื่อที่ใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และ "Bloom" ที่สื่อถึงการผลิบาน การเติบโต และการสร้างชีวิตใหม่ให้กับแนวคิดทางศิลปะ

ผลงานของ Mani Bloom นำแรงบันดาลใจจากลวดลายไทยโบราณ งานหัตถศิลป์ และธรรมชาติ มาตีความใหม่ผ่านภาพประกอบและการออกแบบลวดลาย เพื่อเชื่อมโยงมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมเข้ากับผู้คนในโลกปัจจุบัน

Mani Bloom is a creative brand founded on the belief that Thai cultural heritage can continue to grow and flourish through contemporary design. The name combines "Mani," the artist's creative identity, with "Bloom," symbolizing growth, blossoming, and the continuous evolution of creativity.

Inspired by traditional Thai motifs, craftsmanship, and nature, Mani Bloom transforms cultural elements into contemporary illustrations and surface pattern designs. Through each creation, the brand celebrates the beauty of Thai heritage while presenting it in a fresh and modern visual language.

พวงมาลัยวงกลม เป็นผลงานที่นำภาพประกอบพวงมาลัยไทยมาจัดวางภายในโครงสร้างรูปทรงวงกลม เพื่อสร้างความสมดุลและความต่อเนื่องขององค์ประกอบ โดยใช้รูปทรงของพวงมาลัยเป็นจุดศูนย์กลางในการกำหนดทิศทางและจังหวะของลวดลาย

องค์ประกอบโดยรอบได้รับการพัฒนาจากรายละเอียดของดอกไม้และลวดลายที่ปรากฏในพวงมาลัย เช่น กลีบดอก ใบไม้ และลายประดับต่าง ๆ ก่อนนำมาจัดเรียงและเชื่อมโยงใหม่ให้เกิดเป็นองค์ประกอบที่มีความกลมกลืน สร้างมิติและความเคลื่อนไหวให้กับภาพ พร้อมคงเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปะไทยไว้ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย

This approach enhances depth, movement, and visual richness while preserving the distinctive character of traditional Thai aesthetics.

The artwork explores how individual floral elements can be transformed into a contemporary compositional language, demonstrating the potential of Thai cultural motifs to evolve while maintaining their original identity.

สติกเกอร์คอลเลกชันนี้ นำภาพประกอบจากลวดลายและองค์ประกอบภายในผลงานต้นฉบับมาจัดเรียงใหม่ในรูปแบบของสติกเกอร์ โดยแยกองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ออกมาเป็นตัวละครและชิ้นงานเดี่ยว เพื่อให้แต่ละลวดลายมีเอกลักษณ์และสามารถสื่อสารเรื่องราวได้ด้วยตัวเอง

การออกแบบยังคงอ้างอิงจากลวดลายไทยโบราณและรูปทรงจากงานหัตถศิลป์ไทย แต่ถูกตีความใหม่ผ่านภาพประกอบร่วมสมัยที่มีสีสันและความสนุกสนานมากขึ้น ทำให้ผู้ชมสามารถสัมผัสรายละเอียดของลวดลายแต่ละส่วนได้อย่างใกล้ชิด และเปิดโอกาสให้แต่ละองค์ประกอบมีบทบาทในฐานะ "ตัวละคร" ที่มีชีวิตและบุคลิกเฉพาะตัว

This sticker collection reinterprets individual elements from the original illustrations by separating and rearranging them into a series of independent sticker designs. Each motif is transformed into its own visual character, allowing every element to express its unique identity while remaining connected to the overall composition.

Inspired by traditional Thai motifs and craftsmanship, the illustrations are reimagined through a contemporary visual language with playful forms and vibrant colors. By presenting each decorative element as a standalone character, the collection invites viewers to appreciate the details of Thai ornamentation in a more engaging and accessible way.

The project reflects the idea of transforming traditional Thai patterns into contemporary illustrations that can be applied across creative products while introducing Thai cultural heritage through a fresh and approachable visual experience.

"蔓妮开花 (Mani Bloom)"

ผลงานชุดนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก ลวดลายบนเครื่องเงินไทยโบราณ โดยศึกษารูปแบบลวดลายและความหมายทางวัฒนธรรม ก่อนนำมาผสมผสานกับ Doodle Art ซึ่งเป็นศิลปะแนวเส้นที่มีลักษณะอิสระและต่อเนื่อง เพื่อสร้างการตีความลวดลายไทยในรูปแบบใหม่

กระบวนการออกแบบใช้การวาดด้วยมือ (Hand-drawn) เป็นหลัก โดยยังคงเอกลักษณ์ของลวดลายเครื่องเงินไทยไว้ พร้อมผสานแนวคิดการออกแบบร่วมสมัย จนเกิดเป็นลวดลายรูปแบบใหม่ที่สะท้อนทั้งคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมและความงามในยุคปัจจุบัน อีกทั้งยังสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับงานกราฟิก สื่อดิจิทัล และผลิตภัณฑ์สร้างสรรค์ (Creative Products) ได้อย่างหลากหลาย

Doodle Art เป็นรูปแบบศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่มีจุดเด่นคือการใช้เส้นอิสระและเส้นต่อเนื่องในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน โดยศิลปินนำเส้น รูปร่าง และลวดลายตกแต่งต่าง ๆ มาจัดองค์ประกอบและเชื่อมโยงกันอย่างสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อสร้างภาพที่มีมิติ มีจังหวะ และน่าสนใจทางสายตา พร้อมถ่ายทอดความเคลื่อนไหว บุคลิกของผลงาน รวมถึงจินตนาการและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของผู้ออกแบบ

Mani Bloom is a creative project inspired by traditional Thai silver motifs and cultural heritage. Through hand-drawn illustrations and contemporary pattern design, the project reinterprets traditional ornaments into modern visual narratives. By combining the expressive language of Doodle Art with Thai craftsmanship, Mani Bloom explores new possibilities for preserving and celebrating Thai culture through illustration and design.

ผลงานชุดนี้นำภาพประกอบและลวดลายที่พัฒนาขึ้นมาต่อยอดสู่การออกแบบสินค้าสร้างสรรค์ (Merchandise) เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของภาพประกอบและลวดลายในการประยุกต์ใช้กับผลิตภัณฑ์ในชีวิตประจำวัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสติกเกอร์ โปสการ์ด สมุด กระเป๋าผ้า ผ้าพันคอ บรรจุภัณฑ์ หรือของที่ระลึกต่าง ๆ

การออกแบบมุ่งเน้นการรักษาเอกลักษณ์ของลวดลายไทย พร้อมปรับให้อยู่ในรูปแบบที่ร่วมสมัยและเข้าถึงผู้คนได้ง่ายยิ่งขึ้น ภาพประกอบแต่ละชิ้นจึงไม่ได้ทำหน้าที่เพียงตกแต่งสินค้า แต่ยังทำหน้าที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราว คุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม และอัตลักษณ์ของศิลปะไทยผ่านประสบการณ์การใช้งานในชีวิตประจำวัน

แนวคิดนี้สะท้อนถึงการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับงานภาพประกอบและลวดลาย โดยเปลี่ยนจากผลงานศิลปะสองมิติให้กลายเป็นสินค้าที่สามารถใช้งานได้จริง และเป็นสื่อกลางในการเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมไทยสู่ผู้คนในวงกว้าง

This collection extends the illustrations and pattern designs into a range of creative merchandise, demonstrating how contemporary illustrations can be transformed into functional products for everyday life. Applications include stickers, postcards, notebooks, tote bags, scarves, packaging, and other lifestyle items.

Each product preserves the essence of traditional Thai motifs while presenting them through a contemporary visual language. Beyond serving as decorative elements, the illustrations communicate cultural stories and celebrate the beauty of Thai heritage through everyday objects.

The project highlights the potential of illustration and surface pattern design to move beyond two-dimensional artworks, transforming them into meaningful products that connect contemporary audiences with Thai culture through design.

ผลงานจัดแสดงรอบสุดท้ายของการสำเร็จการศึกษา เป็นการนำเสนอผลลัพธ์จากกระบวนการวิจัย การวิเคราะห์ และการพัฒนางานออกแบบตลอดระยะเวลาการศึกษา โดยสะท้อนถึงองค์ความรู้ แนวคิด และทักษะทางการออกแบบที่ได้รับการพัฒนาผ่านกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์

โครงการนี้มุ่งศึกษาลวดลายบนเครื่องเงินไทยในมิติของรูปแบบ องค์ประกอบทางศิลป์ และคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม เพื่อนำมาตีความและพัฒนาเป็นแนวทางการออกแบบร่วมสมัย ผ่านการสร้างสรรค์ลวดลายใหม่และประยุกต์ใช้กับผลิตภัณฑ์ที่สามารถใช้งานได้จริง

การจัดแสดงผลงานในครั้งนี้จึงเป็นบทสรุปของกระบวนการค้นคว้า ทดลอง และสร้างสรรค์ ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างมรดกทางวัฒนธรรม งานศิลปะ และการออกแบบสมัยใหม่ พร้อมนำเสนอศักยภาพของลวดลายไทยในการต่อยอดสู่ผลิตภัณฑ์ร่วมสมัยและการใช้งานในชีวิตประจำวัน


The final exhibition project represents the culmination of my graduate study, presenting the outcomes of a research-based design process developed through exploration, analysis, and creative experimentation throughout the program.

This project focuses on the study of traditional Thai silverware patterns, exploring their visual characteristics, artistic compositions, and cultural values. Through the process of reinterpretation and design development, these traditional elements were transformed into contemporary patterns and applied to functional products for everyday use.

This final exhibition serves as a reflection of the complete research and creative journey, demonstrating the connection between cultural heritage, artistic expression, and contemporary design. It highlights the potential of Thai traditional patterns to be preserved, reinterpreted, and expanded into meaningful modern products.
