NekoEyes is a Thai illustrator and manga artist whose work explores irony, observation, and the quiet absurdities of urban life. His recent series, inspired by encounters with monitor lizards in Bangkok’s Lumphini Park, reimagines everyday scenes through a contemporary lens influenced by Japanese ukiyo-e. He hopes audiences will resonate with the series’ understated humor and recognize something familiar in the monitor lizards’ surprisingly human predicaments.

NekoEyes is an illustrator and comic artist exploring urban ecology and environmental themes.

He is delighted to debut his first illustration series, HELLO, I’M HERE: 13 Views of Lumphini Park, at Bangkok Illustration Fair 2026. These black-and-white illustrations capture monitor lizards and park visitors with humour and tenderness, inviting collectors, art enthusiasts, and urban dwellers to rediscover everyday life.

His BACC exhibitions include a collaborative climate activism manga on rotational farming of the Karen indigenous people of northern Thailand with R2S (EarthRights International) in 2022 and the silent manga about family legacy, Harvest of a Lifetime, currently on view for Bangkok Comics Art Festival.

Harvest of a Lifetime — Exhibition at BACC

Sample pages from Harvest of a Lifetime, a short silent manga tracing a boy’s journey from childhood to adulthood through his bond with an elderly farmer. Recurring letters and baskets of fruit become symbols of care, memory, and the legacy one generation leaves to the next.

Exhibited at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) as part of Bangkok Comics Art Festival, organized by BKKUnzine, 5–18 October 2026.
