Anusorn Phasomkit (OLE) is an artist and freelance illustrator, born in 1988, who graduated in Visual Communication Design from the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University. He was born and raised in his mother's tailoring shop in the coastal province of Chonburi, and is currently living in Bangkok, Thailand.
OLE started working mainly as an illustrator in 2019 and has worked with many organizations. However, his personal artwork began from a small perspective of himself, such as finding himself, love, and success. He believes that questioning and understanding oneself is as important as creating work that reflects the big perspective of society, because every human being is a component of society. By finding his own meaning and translating it into a painting, he has always communicated and forwarded new questions.
The colors and lines in OLE's illustrations and his artworks were heavily influenced by his childhood spent in his mother's tailoring shop. He absorbed the flowers in the fabric pattern and the fresh colors of the spools of thread, so his work has clear colors, surreal shapes, and a two-dimensional quality.
