linnatammmm explores unseen emotions through poetic visual storytelling, transforming invisible feelings into tangible experiences. Rooted in themes of vulnerability, memory, and tenderness, each work creates quiet spaces where overlooked emotions can be seen, felt, and shared.

let your tears comfort you.

Let Your Tears Comfort You is an oil painting on paper about the idea that tears can be a best friend when we feel sad.
Tears understand sadness and can comfort us like a close friend who truly understands how we feel. When we let ourselves cry, the heavy feeling inside can become lighter.

Deep blue see.

Deep under the sea, there are many discarded objects lying at the bottom of the blue ocean, waiting for someone to dive down and discover them.
Deep inside the mind, there are also fragments of my past from different moments in time, waiting for me in the present to look back and see them again.
Because the past is there for us to learn from, and to better understand who we are today.

Inside this song.

"I thought I was trapping you inside this song, but in the end, every time I hear it, it is me who gets trapped inside it instead"

linnatammmm x moorlooop

linnatammmm x moreloop is a bag design collaboration with Moreloop, a brand that works with deadstock fabrics and gives leftover materials new life.
This concept is reinterpreted as a reflection on people and surplus resources, suggesting that everything and everyone has value within themselves. Nothing should be defined as “excess” or be left behind simply because it is considered unwanted.

"An empty piece doesn't mean it's missing."

A blank puzzle piece holds no pattern, yet the picture is incomplete without it. Just like those ordinary moments in life they seem like nothing, but we cannot live without them.

No one can preserve their best version... as long as they are still living.

Taxidermy preserves a creature in its exact likeness, looking fully alive yet holding no life at all. Only a taxidermied object can freeze a 'best self' forever but it is an object with no life, and no future.

Even though I know being black isn't wrong, I still feel guilty anyway.

White represents purity, yellow is happiness, red is energy, and black is sadness and loneliness. But what if one day, black wants to be happiness too? Why does black have to be nothing but sadness? And what about us are we the way we are because someone else decided it for us?

Can't breathe.

Can’t breathe’ is an oil painting that captures invisible suffocation. A woman’s bra, hidden beneath her outerwear, represents a constriction concealed from the world. Not only is it unseen by others, but the wearer herself can become so accustomed to the discomfort that she forgets she is slowly running out of air.

life's bitter. glaze over it!

"glaze over it!" is a play on the phrase "gloss over," which means to overlook, ignore, or cover up.
Held in collaboration with UFO Doughnuts & Coffee, a shop nestled right in the heart of a bustling office district, the exhibition "life's bitter. glaze over it!" aims to transform this doughnut shop into a sanctuary. We want it to be a safe haven where everyone who is exhausted and stressed out from work can take a breather, escape from their problems for a moment, and recharge their hearts with some sweets before finding the strength to go back and face those challenges later.
Problems aren’t always meant to be solved. Sometimes, the struggles we are facing right now might just be there to remind us that overlooking an unfixable problem can be a way of solving it, too.
