A Bangkok-based illustrator and monster creator who enjoys bringing her imaginary characters to life. Her work often springs from turning personal interests, feelings, and observations into different kinds of characters, each sprinkled with a pinch of humor and playfulness. She also runs MeMiann Studio, where she introduces her little creations to the world and sells them as illustrated goods.

Babo Wants to Be Yummy

‘Babo,’ a long-necked confused-looking monster sets off on an existential crisis journey yet again! Although they still don’t know who they are or what they want to be, they would LOVE to know if they can be delicious. Tom Yum? Taco? Tempura? Let’s try them all!

Book & Beer

A mascot design for ‘Books & Beers’ festival. With ‘Book’ having a gigantic, fluffy head from overindulging in reading and ‘Beer’ happily jiggling a chubby belly from chugging too much beer, the pair is each other’s companion to “keep calm, read books and drink beers.”

The Moldy Shokupan

A shokupan with hachimaki rope trying to tell itself to fight! Never give in to the mold!
But changes are inevitable and here comes… the mold…..

To the Falling Cherry Blossoms

‘The only constant in the world is change.’ As time passes… sakura withers, taiyaki ice cream melts, tanuki turns into stone, bread goes moldy and Daruma gets burnt(?!?) — everything has to go through change one day…

The Witch’s Familiars

Meet the ‘Witch’s Familiars,’ the purrfectly mischievous companions of the witch. From the tiring magic mirror, the many-eyed cat, the finger hunting rabbit to the raven-in-disguised pigeon — they’re here to to cast a spell and charm their way into your heart.

Granny Yoopy’s Candy Shop

This sweet collection is inspired by my grandmother “Yoo,” who had Alzheimer’s disease. Granny Yoo always mistook my merchandises to be candies rather than stickers so, I made this collection as a tribute to her. Each character is a blend of different flavored candies and my memories about Granny Yoo - what she liked, her dreams, her hobbies and what she taught me. Finally, a candy shop under her name is now opened.

My Bestie is Me

Ta dahh! Time for a birthday surprise! Every individual monster in this collection represents the things that I learnt before turning 30. Keep your inner child alive, spend more time with people who matter, put on your sunscreen, and the most important lesson of all is to give a lot of love to yourself because at the end of the day, your best friend is “you.”

The Incredible Life of a Bangkokian

‘Why is living in this city so hard?!’ - a little voice complained. These voices came from a dotted-eye, prehistoric creature who has been living in Bangkok since… forever(?!). Over the years, these creatures have adapted to the *ahem* niceness of Bangkok and became numb to all of the wonderful things. Tangly electricity lines? No worries! Flooded footpath. Easy peasy! What an incredible life they have!

Gomi x Christmas Leftovers

After Gomi the lost monster escaped from the L.A.B., they roamed around town and found themselves in another trash can during the Christmas holidays. To blend in, they disguised themselves as Christmas leftovers found in the trash: a stray reindeer, a broken candy cane, the forgotten Christmas decors, the naughty Elf that got left behind by Santa and many other Jingle Bell-y trashy items.

The Detective and Suspect X

Inspired by Daikufu Publishing books, each character in this collaborative project is a depiction of the qualities a detective and a suspect possess. Team White - the detective - is paranoid, observant, resourceful and intuitive while Team Black - the suspect - is unhinged, motivated, mysterious and revengeful.
