Chayood Ngamekudomphong is painter based in Thailand mainly focus on oil painting and also has interest in other mediums like sculpture 3d modeling printmaking etc . I graduated with a bachelor degree from silpakorn university faculty of painting sculpture and graphic major in painting in 2023 and participated in Erasmus + exchange program in 2022 to Germany , Bremen University of art for 1 semester and this exchange program help me a lot for open my mind to international art world furthermore it also brought more fun and freshness to my work In term of concept my painting presenting a childhood , happiness , dream that keep losing wild I growing trough painting object of burning toy to bring the viewer explore deep down in ourself when innocence is main part of our life like childhood because Innocence is like a sponge, ready to absorb information that is difficult to critically scrutinize. In today's world, where access to information in all forms is easy, and all of this information is created on an ongoing basis. The paintings in this series are aimed at investigating images from childhood toys as tools that can be guided or concealed by various myths of power. Either beliefs, gender roles, or implications for becoming a consumerist society to children since they are not yet able to understand and think. It paved the way for the world of capitalism and the need for instant happiness. With such problems, the creator wants to share information through the painting. The creator is attempting to use images of toys with historical significance or a fraction of the advertising product to stimulate consumerism by reinterpreting and reflecting a negative image in order to call into question the diminishing happiness that comes with getting older. The accumulation of stress and sadness as we approach the real-world labor market reminds us of the dangers behind our happiness, which is about to run out gradually.
